RELIEF FROM PLANTAR WARTS
Podiatry Care
FIND RELIEF FROM THE PAIN OF PLANTAR WARTS
Usually found on the bottom of the foot, plantar warts develop when people are exposed to the human papilloma virus (HPV). They are most common in children, adolescents, and the elderly.
You may develop a single wart with additional satellite warts, or small mosaic warts in a hard-to-treat cluster.
Plantar warts become an issue when they make walking and standing difficult, and some people find them unsightly and want them removed whether they are causing pain or not.
SEVERAL PLANTAR WART REMEDIES AVAILABLE
At A Step Above Podiatry, we use a combination of treatments, including topical removals with acids and oral medications. Surgical solutions include excision, freezing, and laser treatments.
Please be aware that plantar warts grow deeply into the skin and can be resistant to treatments. Several remedies may be necessary to find the solution that works for you.
