Meet Dr. Elizabeth Hinton, DPM
Dr. Hinton is a lifelong resident of Pennsylvania and has been helping her community keep their feet healthy since 2014. Her dedication to podiatric medicine was sparked at an early age, after witnessing her grandfather lose both legs to diabetes. Today, she is a mother of three, a passionate gardener and dog owner, holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and loves camping, and hiking with her husband and family.
She graduated from Temple in 2011. She then went on to finish a 3-year surgical residency at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia. The doctor is board certified in foot and ankle surgery and is affiliated with Grandview Surgery Center.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
While earning her Bachelor’s in Science at Lock Haven University, Dr. Hinton would find her calling while participating in an internship at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. She graduated from Temple in 2011, and immediately assumed a three-year surgical residency at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Hinton then moved to UPMC in Harrisburg, where she spent five years in a diabetic wound care setting. Today, the doctor is board certified in foot and ankle surgery, certified in Lapiplasty 3D bunion correction, and is affiliated with Grandview Surgery Center.
